Since the COVID-19 pandemic has spreaded all over the world, the world is gradually embarking on its overseas flights, so the government also has embarked on a mission to make Thailand a reliable destination for attracting foreign tourists.
Most countries closed their borders in March due to corona spread. Although the corona epidemic is currently in full swing, borders are opening up for economic purposes. Thailand, which is a tourist destination, plans to bring in new changes to attract foreign tourists after Corona.
It is reported that the hotels will be issued with a medical certificate to give confidence among tourists. It is reported that the hotels will only accommodate 50 per cent of passengers and thereby ensure a social space.
“We are planning to improve our tourism industry,” said Danes Petsuan, Deputy Governor of Marketing and Communications of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. We are going to make Thailand the most reliable choice for tourism. Hotels will be issued medical certificates, thereby ensuring the health structure there. This will give customers confidence.
In early Thailand, corona spread was restricted. So far, only 3,100 people have been infected and 58 people have died.
Tourism plays an important role in the economy of Thailand. Tourism accounts for 12 per cent of the country’s total income. Thailand’s tourism industry is crippled by corona spread. Over 4 crore foreign tourists visited Thailand last year. This year, that number is forecast to fall to 1.4 crores.
Thailand has banned foreign flights until June 30.
