Most countries closed their borders in March due to corona spread. Although the corona epidemic is currently in place, borders are opening up for the economy. Thailand, which earns its revenue from tourism, has come up with new changes to attract foreign tourists after Corona.
Tourism plays an important role in Thailand’s economy. Tourism accounts for 12 percent of the country’s total income. Thailand’s tourism industry was crippled by corona spread. Nearly 4 million foreign tourists visited Thailand last year. This year, that number is forecast to fall to 1.4 crores.
Thailand has banned foreign flights until 30 June.
