China rejected US President Donald Trump’s mediate between India and China, regarding the tensions over border disputes.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that China and India are capable enough to resolve the issues through dialogue and consultation. Surprisingly, the US President, Trump offered to mediate the raging border dispute between India and China on Wednesday. Truly he was willing to ease the tensions between two countries.
As a reply for Trump’s reply, Zhao Lijian, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, said that the two countries did not want the intervention from a third party to resolve the problem between two countries.
While briefing to the media, Mr Zhao told that between China and India we have existing border-related mechanisms and communication channels. We are capable of properly resolving the issues between us through dialogue and consultation. We do not need the intervention of the third party.
