Pakistani spin bowler Danish Kaneria asks Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh to help Pakistani minorities. Former Pakistan spinner Danish Kaneria sent a special request on Twitter on Friday.
Kaneria, a Hindu cricketer and a non-Muslim cricketer overall to represent Pakistan in international cricket asked Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh to make a video to guide Pakistan’s minorities as the Coronavirus pandemic rages.
Kaneria, who played for Pakistan 61 Tests and 18 ODIs, took to Twitter to encourage his Indian counterparts to do that. He also shared a connection through which people will be able to donate to support minorities in Pakistan during this crisis.
Kaneria, who played for Pakistan 61 Tests and 18 ODIs, took to Twitter to encourage his Indian counterparts to do so. He also shared a link through which people will be able to donate to support minorities in Pakistan during this crisis.
This comes after twitter messages were posted by Yuvraj and Harbhajan, asking people to support the foundation of former Pakistan All-rounder Shahid Afridi, who entered the fight against the Pakistan pandemic.
“I request @YUVSTRONG12 and @harbhajan_singh to make a video for the minorities living in Pakistan as well. They need your help at this moment of #coronacrisis. People can donate here at,” Kaneria wrote on his twitter page.
For their appeal to support Afridi’s foundation, Yuvraj and Harbhajan had faced flack from social media users in India.
That prompted Yuvraj to clarify on Wednesday, saying that he never wanted to hurt the feelings of anyone and that his call for help was taken too seriously.
“I really don’t understand how a message to help the most vulnerable gets blown out of proportion! All I tried to achieve via that message was that to help people in our respective countries by providing healthcare, my intention was not to hurt anyone’s feelings,” his tweet on the page on Wednesday.
“I am an Indian and I will always bleed blue and will always stand for humanity. Jai hind,” he added.
Harbhajan also responded to the criticism on Thursday and posted a video to his Twitter handle showing Sikhs preparing and distributing food to England’s citizens. Harbhajan echoed Yuvraj’s opinion that civilization comes first in these unparalleled times.
“No religion, no cast, only humanity…that’s what it is…stay safe stay home…spread love not hate or virus…let’s pray for every single one…May Waheguru bless us all,” he wrote in the video description.
Yuvraj Singh also wrote on his twitter page about the unforgettable moment when India won world cup 2011
Yuvraj Singh to Ravi Shastri on World Cup 2011 post: He said “You can tag me and MS Dhoni.”
Ravi Shastri replied to Yuvraj Singh after India’s all-rounder said on Thursday he missed tagging him and MS Dhoni in his 2011 World Cup message.
