Microsoft hosted the highly anticipated event to showcase some of the most iconic titles for its upcoming console Xbox Series X. This event was focused on games exclusive to the Xbox platform, which includes several titles from independent and Microsoft owned partner studios.
One of the most exciting names popped up was the Halo Infinite, which is the sixth installment from the legendary Halo series. The showcase featured several minutes from the Halo infinite with glimpses of iconic weapons like the Needler and shotgun. It looks like a typical Halo game with fighting Aliens with assault rifles, and familiar sound effects like the humming of a levitation lift.
Another big name from the event was the much-awaited zombie survival game State of Decay 3. It resembles its predecessor in many ways, including the post-apocalyptic feel and impressive cut scene graphics. Many other games were also featured, including the next installments from the Forza and Fable series.
Unfortunately, Microsoft didn’t say any word on the release date or the price of the upcoming Xbox Series X console. Microsoft is set to battle it out with Sony, who are about to launch their own next-gen console, the PS5. Experts believe that both of the consoles will be priced around $500.
