Asus is the leading company in the gaming smartphone sector, and now they have released the ROG Phone 3. Unlike their previous phones, ROG 3 focuses not only on robust gaming hardware but also on improving user experience with features like Air Triggers and pressure-sensitive areas on the edges.
Appearance hasn’t changed much.
ROG 3 has RGB lighting, sharp angles, and a massive copper plate as a heat sink, just like its predecessor. It is made from metal and glass and has an excellent build quality. Motion sensors and Airtriggers are a new addition, which is simply the L1 and R1 buttons you find in a console controller.
144 Hz display and Snapdragon 865 Plus processor
ROG Phone 3 comes with a giant 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution. It has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, which is way more than the average 60 Hz, which means better picture quality.
ROG 3 is also the first phone to be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. It is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 and is believed to be the fastest CPU in an Android device.
Camera and battery
ROG 3 has a triple camera system comprising a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, an ultra-wide 13MP camera, and a 5MP macro camera. It also has a powerful 6000 mAh battery.
