Washington [US]: US President Donald Trump announced a three-phase program to reopen the coronavirus lockdown on Thursday
Trump also said that his administration is releasing new federal guidelines that will allow governors to reopen their individual states in a phased and deliberate way.
Furthermore, a timetable for easing social distancing constraints is not set out in the instruction program. President Trump shared a paper called Opening up America with the Governors outlining a proposed three-phase strategy for reopening states.
A state or territory needs to report a decline in total COVID-19 cases and positive tests before a phased reopening. The first step of reopening aims to create the continuation of social distancing in public and at meetings of no more than 10 people, while fragile people will still have to shelter. In fact, non-essential journeys should be stopped.
During phase three, everyone has to reduce time in crowds and in public interactions
Compared to the time before COVID-19, large clubs, bars, and gyms would have to deal with the biggest changes. All this depends on the number of infections that do not significantly recover.
As of Thursday evening, there were 6,58,263 cases of coronavirus in the US. Meanwhile, the Coronavirus Resource Center at the university stated that the world has recorded 32,186 deaths due to the virus.
Trump reported on Wednesday that data show that the US has reached a peak of COVID-19 cases nationally.
