The government does not know who developed the aarogya setu app
As the corona infection began to spread rapidly in India, the Health Setu App was launched on behalf of the Central Government to monitor the spread of the infection. This is being used by millions of Indians on mobile.
The Health Setu App greatly helps to find out who the corona infected people were in contact with. In fact, the World Health Organization has praised the health care app.
In this case, the central government has no information on who created the Health Setu app. The app has been developed by the National Informatics Center and the Ministry of IT on the Health Setu website.
The petition was filed under the Right to Information Act to find out who created the Health Setu app. In response, the National Informatics Center and the IT Ministry said they had no information on who created the Health Setu app.
In a notice sent to the Central Government by the Central Information Commission, it said, “The refusal of the authorities to provide information is unacceptable. No chief public information officer knows who created the app and where the information is. This is a very serious matter. ”
Government departments concerned in the matter have been directed to appear before the Central Information Commission on November 24.
