Gonda, Uttar Pradesh: Temple priest shot over land dispute, case registered against 4 people.
According Gonda Police, Temple Priest was shot last night in Itia Thok over land dispute and a case has been filed against four persons on Sunday.
Shailesh Kumar Pandey, Gonda Superintendent of Police (SSP) told the reporters, “A temple priest was shot last night at a village in Itia Thok, Gonda district of U.P. He was admitted to a hospital. A case has been registered against 4 people”.
The priest of Ram Janaki Temple in Itia Thok, was allegedly attacked while he was asleep. “The priest had a land dispute with the accused persons”
The further investigations are underway.
