New Delhi: The total number of COVID-19 patients in India is 1, 18, 447, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Welfare report.
There are 148 deaths have reported in the last 24 hours and 66, 330 active cases and 3, 583 have died as a whole so far.
Still Maharashtra is the worst-hit state by coronavirus, which has 2,940 cases since last 24 hours and the total number of case is 44,582 and secondly Tamilnadu has 13,967 and thirdly Gujarat has 12, 905.
While briefing to the media, Pravin Srivatsava said that Boston Consulting Group (BSG) estimated that 30 lakh to 70 lakhs cases were averted and 1.2 lakh-2.1 lakh lives saved due to lockdown.
Prime Minister Modi extended the lockdown till May 30, along with the newguidelines, in which people should not go out for non-essential things.
