India: PUBG mobile game will stop working in India
The central government has banned some mobile applications for security reasons in India. That includes a lot of China’s applications. Pubg was also on the list with 117 applications canceled in two phases. It is owned by Bluehole, a South Korean video game company. Copyright to China
Following the Indo-Chinese border tensions, the central government is taking various measures against China. That includes the cancellation of China’s mobile apps.
Pubg was banned in India for its association with a Chinese company. In this regard, Pubg Corporation has made an important announcement to all Indian fans of Pubg on its official Facebook page. By order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the services of Pubg Mobile and Pubg Mobile Lite will be completely banned from today (October 30).
The Pubg app cannot be downloaded from the Indian Google Play Store or the Apple iOS App Store. Does not work for those who have already done the download. Babji servers in India are also disabled.
The primary purpose is to keep information secure. We therefore wish to abide by India’s Information Security Act and Regulations. We are very sorry to stop our service.
Many thanks for the support given to India’s Pubg mobile app. The PC version of the game is not banned, however. It is worth noting that the entire rights are with the Bluehole Company of South Korea.
