Lucknow: As India is fighting with the novel virus COVID-19, some of UP’s 30 lakh-plus migrant workers who returned during the lockdown are going back to work.
Speaking to media, Diwakar Prasad and Khursheed Ansari, who have represented the migrants and spoke, said that they returned home just a month ago.
Mr. Ansari said he is a factory worker in Mumbai and his larger tailoring unit is still shut. I am returning to find whatever work I can. Corona is better than hunger. It’s better for me to die rather than my children to die of coronavirus.
