Dubai: Chris Gayle recovers from stomach infection, expected to play next match.
The senior Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) batsman Chris Gayle, who was admitted in hospital due to stomach infection, is now fully recovered and expected to play the next match.
Anil Kumble, the Head Coach of KXIP, said that Gayle had missed his first two games of the season due to the stomach infection.
The 41-year-old cricketer, uploaded his recent picture on Instagram from his hospital bed with a caption, “ I can tell you this!!! I will never go down without a fight!! A team source has confirmed his recovery and also said he is likely to play in the upcoming match against Royal Challengers of Bangalore (RCB).
