A video turned-up in online in which a government teacher dancing on Sapna Chaudharya in classroom, as others are showering money on her.
In a shocking incident, a government school teacher in UP was found dancing on Sapna Chaudhary’s song ‘Teri Aakhya Ka Yo Kajal’ in a locked classroom. The video is going viral on social media. While her colleagues, including male teachers, were found showering cash on her.
The three-minute-long video was shot in Gaurishankar Degree College of Kutukpur Chanura village in Narkhi block of the district.
In the video, teachers were also found showering cash on their fellow female teacher, who had taken the center stage for a dance.
According to sources, at least 150 primary school teachers were called for a five-day training program under the central government’s initiative, called ‘NISHTHA’ (National Initiative for School Head’s and Teacher’s Holistic Advancement).
“The dance party was organized after lunch inside the classroom by a group of teachers, who were supposed to attend the “NISHTHA” program from 9 am to 5 pm. In the video, teachers were also found showering cash on their fellow woman teacher, who had taken the center stage for the dance,” said a source.
The teacher is seen dancing to the peppy number as others in the classroom are either making videos of her performance on mobile phones or showering cash on her which creates an unethical ground in the college premises.
After the video went viral, six teachers, including the teacher found dancing in the video, were suspended by Firozabad’s basic education officer.
“The dance video was found to be true. The indiscipline of teachers is unacceptable. Their act has tarnished the image of the education department. Therefore, six of them have been suspended.” Arvind Pathak, the Basic education officer of Firozabad said.
This immediate action of the incident makes it a lesson for the others to behave more carefully where there should be a constant reminder that they are a teacher and should never lose their grace.
Furthermore, there have been many issues reported based on teachers in UP like the recent one, a 49-year-old government school teacher found hanging inside a classroom on 25th February, Tuesday evening, Ravindra Kumar Shukla, a resident of Rajajipuram, worked as a teacher in a primary school in Lalbagh. He was found hanging inside a classroom of the school, hours after the students had left.
According to teachers in the school, even though, Shukla reached the school on time on Tuesday and took all classes. He participated in the prayers with students before they left for home. This incident shook the school. The education department should keep a regular check on their teachers and see what problems they are facing through to ease u things for them and rescue them from depression or any other mental problems.
