Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala): Customs officers arrested two in gold smuggling case on Thursday in Kerala.
The accused are identified as Muhammad Anwar TM and Saidalvi E and they both are belong to Kerala’s Malapuram district.
Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd (KSITIL), under the IT department, had carried out many raids in Thiruvananthapuram, according to the anonymous phone call that informed about the gold smuggling, in which KSITIL seized 30 kg of gold worth Rs 14. 82 crore.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered an FIR under sections 16, 17 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities.
