Earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred today at 7:54 am in Durgapur, West Bengal, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) said. No damage has been reported.
Tremors were felt in the industrial town and its nearby area, officials have confirmed.
As per the National Centre of Seismology, The earthquake’s epicentre at 110km east-northeast of Durgapur took place at 7.54 am at a depth of 10 km. Police have confirmed that there has been no report of damages in the area so far.
