Today, India has touched another important milestone in the war against COVID. For the first time in the last 85 days, the number of current COVID victims has come down to less than 6 lakh.
The current number of victims in the country is 5,94,386. The last casualty on August 6 was 5.95 lakh.
The current vulnerability rate is just 7.35 percent compared to the total vulnerabilities that have been confirmed so far.
A large number of COVID patients are recovering daily. With 73,73,375 patients cured so far, India has the highest number of cured people in the world.
The mortality rate continues to decline. The number of new vulnerabilities is also declining.
In the last 24 hours alone, 57,386 patients have recovered. 48,648 new infections have been reported in the last 24 hours. The national recovery rate is 91.15 percent.
80% of those healed were from 10 states and union territories.
These have been made possible by the effective implementation of the Government’s comprehensive and efficient testing, monitoring and treatment strategies across the country.
