Sangod (Rajasthan): Congress MLA urges Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to reopen the liquor shops, claiming that drinking alcohol will remove coronavirus from throat.
Kundanpur has written a letter to CM on April 30, in which he said that when coronavirus can be removed by washing hands with alcohol, the drinking alcohol will surely remove virus from the throat.
He furtherly metioned that the sale of illegal liquor had become rampant in the state due to closure of liquor stores during the lockdown.
Prime Minister Modi has announced nationwide lockdown as a precautionary measure to contain the speed of the deadly virus, COVID-19.
As per the State Health Department, Rajasthan has 2,617 cases.
In this scenario, Congress MLA has written a letter to CM to reopen the liquor shops.
