Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Monday stressed on his earlier allegation that actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his father KK Singh had a strained relationship. He also said that Rajput was not on very good terms with his father and also demanded an enquiry to know the number of times Sushant had gone to Patna to meet his father.
Previously, the leader had written, in a column for ‘Saamana’, that Mumbai Police’s investigation had revealed that a ‘strained’ relationship between Sushant Singh Rajput and his father KK Singh did exist. Upon being asked about the editorial piece, Sanjay Raut said, “It is true, how many times Sushant went to Patna to meet his father? I have sympathy for his father, but there are many things that will come to the surface.”
In the same piece, he also wrote said that an FIR was registered on Sushant’s death in Patna when the alleged incident had actually taken place in Mumbai. “The family stepped in only after 40 days after the incident,” he complained.
He alleged that after the incident drew the attention of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he recommended a CBI investigation into the case, while Mumbai Police was investigating the matter since day one and was about to solve it. Alongside, MP Sanjay Raut further claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is being used for ‘political gains’ by people from all sectors.
